Vitis vinifera “Italia”

Easy to look after and hardy- just need a strong support. Vigorous deciduous climbing vine suitable for growing in almost all of Perth. Can be grown on a sturdy fence or over a pergola. Fruiting is improved with annual pruning. Prefers full sun.

“Italia” is a versatile dual purpose grape – used for both wine making and eating fresh.

Fruit: Large, oval in shape. Seeds are present.

Flesh: White, fleshy with mild muscat flavour.

Skin: Firm, golden to yellowish green.

Maturity: Mid February.

Pollination: Self fertile.
