“Captivator” is an old fashioned variety with fruit produced on a small thorny bush. 

Habit: Small deciduous bush.

Flower: White Spring flower

Fruit: Round, ripening greenish yellow and striped in summer. Fruit should be fully ripe when picked to obtain the best sweet flavour.

Maturity: November to December

Pollinators: Self fertile

Position: Plant in full sun. More suited to cooler climates. 

Uses:  Jams, cooking and pies
