Nematanthus gregarius – ‘Goldfish Plant’

 

Price range: $14.99 through $34.99

A lovely trailing plant growing to 20cm tall and 50cm wide with succulent leaves that are a deep green on top and red on the underneath of the leaf. It has eye-catching orange flowers in spring and summer that are said to resemble goldfish, hence its common name, the goldfish plant. It can be grown indoors or outdoors in containers and hanging baskets where its dropping growth habit can be appreciated. It needs a part shade position and to be grown in well drained moist soil.
