Ginkgo biloba – ‘Lemonlime Spire’

An upright, (relatively) fast growing Ginkgo, with lime coloured leaves in summer and bright yellow tones in autumn.  

Habit: 5m H x 1m W

Growth Rate: Slow

Foliage: Fan shaped with a strong crease. Lime green turning bright yellow in autumn.

Flower: Insignificant. Male variety which does not produce fruit.

Position: Plant in well drained, improved soil. Low to medium water requirements once established. Protect from north-west sun and hot winds – prefers a temperate climate with cool to cold winters. 

Uses: Strong upright growth and compact habit make this a perfect tree for courtyard gardens, containers, and formal gardens.
