Citrus australasica – “Little Ruby”

Naturally Dwarf, Little Ruby is a compact growing shrub well suited to tub planting. The chubby finger limes are dark green in colour with rosy red citrus pearls when the fruit is ripe. The finger limes appear in the autumn, with an occasional guest appearance through other times of the year.

Little Ruby performs best in full sun and in a warm, wind free, protected location.
Trees will begin to produce fruit in the 2nd autumn after they’ve been planted. Needs to be planted in a free draining soil with plenty of organic matter. Protect from frost. Keep the water and fertiliser up over the warmer months.
