Euphorbia characias  – ‘Blackbird’

$24.99

Eye-catching evergreen shrub with a spreading habit growing to 40cm tall and 50cm wide. It has leathery dark leaves emerge with a burgundy hue before fading to a dark green. In winter and spring the plant has green flowers held up on spikes above the foliage. It tolerates both extreme heat and cool and is drought resistant but will require deep watering during extended dry periods. It is excellent for containers, water wise gardens and succulent gardens. It needs a full sun position and well drained soils.
