Eremophila densifolia – ‘Purple Carpet’

A hardy attractive ground cover from South West Western Australia ‘Purple Carpet’ has thin green leaves that change to a reddish colour in Spring and Summer to highlight the gorgeous purple blooms that cover the plant throughout the same period. The flowers will attract bird and insect pollinators making it great for a native habitat garden. Once flowering has finished prune of leggy or unattractive growth to maintain shape and appearance. It grows in well drained soils in full sun to part shade and can reach a spread of 1.5 m wide and 3ocm high.
