Iris x hollandica – ‘Dutch Iris Discovery’

A very elegant, striking flower. They are best planted in clumps amongst other perennials or shrubs. Prefers alkaline to neutral pH.

After flowering, remove spent flowers and continue to feed and water until all the foliage turns yellow and dies down. May be left undisturbed in the soil for many years.

Harmful if eaten

Flower Colour: Purple with yellow ‘eye’

Flowering Time: Spring

Position: Sun to part shade.
