Duranta repens – ‘Geisha Girl Standard’

A vigorous, compact, heat loving shrub producing masses of mauve, purple flowers that have delicate white edges and are slightly fragrant. Flowering from spring through autumn it thrives in an open, sunny position in well drained soil and is ideal for mixed shrubberies and large containers. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.

The standard geisha girl will reach 2m tall with a spread of 1.5m. It needs to be pruned to maintain the standard “lollypop” shape but the care is the same.
