In Perth the Custard Apple may be semi-deciduous, they can lose most of their leaves at the very end of winter before buds burst in spring.
Position: Full sun, in the Perth hills grow in an area protected from frost
Size & Habit: 8m tall and 4-5m wide, spreading habit, dense canopy
Flower: Yellow to cream flower, can flower for 3 to 6 months
Fruit: Medium, custard white flesh, lovely sweet flavour with some slight acidity
Skin:ย Mid green, lumpy appearance
Cropping: Fruit will ripen over the winter months
Harvest/Maturity: May take 3 to 4 years to fruit
