A flowering annual in the Parsely family. It is grown for its seed which has a slightly bitter, earthy flavour. Produces feathery green foliage and fragrant pink or white flowers. 

Position: Full sun, well drained soil.  

Uses: Popular in Indian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, North African and Mexican cuisines. Foliage can be added to salad, similar to dill.

Harvest: Seed produced about 120 days after planting.
