Codiaeum variegatum – ‘Petra’

Price range: $16.99 through $24.99

FEATURES: A lovely plant with large, colourful leaves

SIZE: Up to 1.5m H x 1m W

FOLIAGE: Leaves are splashed in shades of green, yellow, red and orange and the combination and pattern of the colours can change according to the seasons

FLOWER: Insignificant

POSITION: Inside with bright, indirect light is best, but it can  be grown in a shady area protected from extreme cold

USES: Makes an excellent house-plant, thanks to its bright colouration

COMMENTS: Plant in a premium, well-drained potting mix and treat with a slow release fertiliser yearly.
