Croton variegatum – Captain Kidd

An amazingly colourful tropical plant, a Croton will brighten any room indoors with it’s vibrant red, green, and yellow variegated foliage.

Crotons do not like to be cold, causing them to drop leaves, so keep in a spot that is warm year-round – a spot grouped with other plants will help to increase humidity and warmth. Indoors they appreciate bright, indirect light for best colour, and moderate water – reduce watering in the winter. Outdoors they will do well in a frost free, semi-shaded, well drained position.

Croton Captain Kidd will grow to 1-1.5m x 1m.

Plant into premium potting mix in a pot with excellent drainage and feed with a quality liquid fertiliser in the warm months.
