Large deciduous shrub or small tree form of Smokebush. Showy flowers give the impression of a haze over the bush. 

Habit: 4m H x 4m W

Growth Rate: Moderate to fast

Foliage: Dark coloured oval shaped leaves, changing to red to orange-yellow in autumn.

Flower: Large showy panicles of wispy purplish-pink flowers in spring and early summer.

Position:  Best leaf colour is produced in full sun.

Uses: Best planted in groups or borders, as individual plants can look quite untidy.
