Clematis x Jackmanii – ‘Piilu’

FEATURES: Free flowering, flowers can be single, double or semi-double petalled

HEIGHT X WIDTH: 1.8m x 1.8m 

FOLIAGE: Long, mid green

FLOWER: Mauve pink with deep pink bar though petals, 10cm diameter, spring to autumn

POSITION: Protected from afternoon summer sun

USES: Patios, trellises, pots and containers, cottage gardens, formal gardens

COMMENTS: Pruning group 2, keep to roots cool by mulching heavily and planting around the base of the vine to shade it.
