Clematis hybrid – ‘Southern Stars’

A fast growing, mounding, twining native climber or ground cover. Clematis Southern Stars has masses of white, star shaped, slightly scented flowers in summer and lovely long deep green leaves. Grow over a trellis or fence, or as a mounding ground cover. A sweet, non-invasive plant that is right at home in a native cottage garden, and will attract native bees and butterflies. Does well in pots.

Plant in well-drained, improved soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. Not salt tolerant. Benefits from the occasional hard prune.
