Cistus ladanifer – ‘Gum Rockrose’

FEATURES: Large upright perennial, large flowers, hardy

HEIGHT X WIDTH: 1.5m x 1.5m 

FOLIAGE: Pointed, mid green, gum-like resin over leaves

FLOWER: White with red spots near centre of foliage, spring to early summer

POSITION: Full sun

USES: Cottage gardens, rockeries, pots and containers, coastal gardens, embankments 

COMMENTS: Drought tolerant, resin on foliage develops a sweet scent during warmer weather
