A large, hardy, semi-deciduous tree suitable for most soil types in full sun.

Height: 12m

Width: 10m

Growth Rate: Moderate

Foliage: Small dark glossy green leaves with a serrated margin. Change to yellow in autumn and hold on tree for an extended period.

Flower: Insignificant

Bark: Ornamental, greyish-brown peeling to brownish-red giving a mottled effect on older trees.

Tolerances: Hardy, will tolerate wetness for short periods. Will sucker if roots are damaged. Good for coastal positions.
