A grafted chestnut variety that produces large brown nuts with a prominent stripe. Excellent quality nut for roasting and cooking. Plant into well-draining, improved soil in full sun. A large tree growing to 10m x 10m. This variety ripens mid-season with the nuts maturing late March-mid April.

Fruit Size: Large

Skin: Spikey husk with a striped brown nut revealed when shelled

Flesh: Sweet, cook before eating, good flavour

Pollination: Needs to be planted with other cultivars for pollination
