A tough large herb with a strong spicy aroma and attractive green foliage. A very aromatic indoor plant that gives the room a sweet spicy aroma. 

Position: Grows in most soil types and prefers part shade to dappled sun. It is hardy to most indoor conditions. Frost sensitive. 

Uses: The leaves can be used as you would bay leaves, cloves etc. Wonderful when chopped and added to stir fries, Asian curries and soups. Add to tea to give a spicy chai flavour. Excellent as a pot pourri.
