Canna edulis – Edible Water Canna

Lush exotic looking burgundy-green foliage with bright orange-red flowers. Spreads by clumping rhizomes – these can be eaten raw or cooked. Grows around edges of the pond, in shallow water or just in the garden bed. Good at filtering pond water. Foliage will grow up to 2m.
