Camellia sasanqua – ‘Sparkling Burgundy’

FEATURES: Hedge/shrub for part shade, abundant flowers, hardy

HEIGHT X WIDTH: 3m x 2m

FOLIAGE: Dark green, glossy

FLOWER: Pink, ruffled petals, autumn and winter

POSITION: Part shade, protected from summer afternoon sun

USES: Hedging, screening, espalier, topiary, feature shrub, courtyards, pots and containers

COMMENTS: Water regularly, mulch during the warmer months of the year, prefers acidic soil. The Sasanqua varieties are slightly more sun and heat tolerant than the Japonica varieties.
