Camellia sasanqua – Mine No Yuki

‘Mine No Yoki’ means ‘Snow on the ridge’. Sasanquas tolerate slightly more sun than japonica camellias.

FEATURES: Hedge/shrub for part shade, peony-like flowers, vigorous

FOLIAGE: Dark green, glossy

FLOWER: White, irregular double, medium sized flowers, autumn and winter

POSITION: Part shade

USES: Hedging, screening, espalier, topiary, pots and containers

COMMENTS: Water regularly, mulch during the warmer months of the year, prefers acidic soil.
