Ceanothus – ‘Blue Sapphire’
$14.99
A hardy and attractive small shrub. During spring it is covered in dense masses of blue blooms that attract a great range of pollinators. It grows along the coast in its natural habitat and is hardy against drought and coastal sea breezes. Spent flower heads should be pruned back to encourage more flowers and to keep the plant looking its best. It is best planted in a well draining position in the garden in full sun. It has very dark leaves, almost black during the winter which helps accentuate the beautiful blue flowers. It is a smaller growing plant, 1m tall and 1.5m and grows with in a mounding habit.
