Plectranthus graveolens – ‘Bush Basil’
$16.99
Bush Basil (also known as Native Coleus, Mountain Plectranthus, Sticky Cockspur) is a shrub native to rocky mountain and rainforest terrain from Cape York Peninsula (QLD) to southeast New South Wales. This plant was traditionally used as a medicinal and ceremonial herb, but is great as a culinary herb, with a complex aroma similar to basil, mint and sage. Use the young leaves in salad, on pizza, in pesto!
Plant in well-draining soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. Will grow 1.5 x 2m.
