Buddleja davidii – ‘High Five Purple’

$24.99

A dwarf form of buddleja that grows to 60cm tall and 60cm wide, however its small size does not mean insignificant flowering. It blooms for months between spring and autumn and has large lavender flowers with a delicious honey scent. Spent flowers can be pruned off to encourage reblooming and the plant can be pruned to maintain it at the size you want. It is excellent as a display plant, in a cottage garden or growing in a container on your patio or balcony. It should be grown in a sunny position in well draining soils and should be watered regularly whilst establishing but once established is heat and drought tolerant. It will look its best if feed with slow release fertiliser twice a year and mulched to keep moisture at its roots.
