A lovely climbing shrub that can grow up to 10m tall and 5m wide with stunning deep purple flowers produced from spring to autumn.

It is a perfect plant to cover sides of buildings, block out pesky neighbours and to grow on arbours to create shade around the house. 

They should be grown in a full sun position in well drained soils. They are more cold tolerant then some bougainvillea varieties but should still be offered some protection from frost, especially when small.
