Best in full sun however birches do not like Perth’s hot dry winds so keep this in mind when choosing a position. These trees are not covered by the Guildford Town Garden Centre Tree Guarantee.

Habit: 10m H x 6m W

Growth Rate: Moderate  

Foliage: Bright green turning yellow in autumn. May not produce good autumn colour in warm areas of Perth

Flower: Catkins

Bark:  Bronze-grey when young then peeling to papery-white. Becoming fissured with grey-black patches as it matures.
