We take orders all year round for Bare Root Trees. Stock is delivered each year in June and July. We will advise the cost and availability by email or text message when your trees have been received.

A graceful specimen tree with silvery bark, and soft, feathery foliage. 

Habit: 11m H x 6m W

Growth Rate: Moderate  

Foliage: Unusual foliage with deeply cut margins, bright green turning butter yellow in autumn. May not produce good autumn colour in warm areas of Perth.

Flower: Catkins

Bark:  Bronze-grey when young then peeling to papery-white. Becoming fissured with grey-black patches as it matures.

Position: Best in full sun however birches do not like Perth’s hot dry winds. Choose a protected position with improved soil.
