Banksia petiolaris

$14.99 – $16.99

An attractive prostrate banksia with sclerophyllous green foliage and yellow flowers in winter through to summer. It can grow to 60cm tall and 2m wide. 

It is a great ground cover for native gardens, able to form dense mats that shade out competition. It can also be grown in rockeries, over embankments and used for erosion control. 

It does best in full sun to part shade in well drained soils. It is able to withstand short frosts and drought. It only needs to be pruned if it starts to spread into areas it is not wanted.
