Banksia praemorsa – ‘Cut Leaf’

FEATURES: Tolerant of coastal conditions and strong wind, bird habitat

HEIGHT X WIDTH: 3m x 1.5m 

FOLIAGE: Pointed, deep green

FLOWER: Red, cylinder, autumn   

POSITION: Full sun to part shade

USES: Coastal gardens, windbreak, screening, cut flowers, native gardens

COMMENTS:  Phosphorous sensitive, only use native fertilisers and soil products designed for native plants. Responds well to pruning and can be trimmed yearly to keep as a more manageable size.
