Deep maroon/purple spears and tips, creamy flesh. Fast growing and extremely hardy, high yielding. 18 months from planting till the first usable harvest. Produces a crisp, tender, sweeter thick spear.  

Position: Full sun/part shade in improved, well drained soil.

Uses: Sweet flavour that works well with traditional root vegetables, lightly cooked in salad or with salmon and other strong flavoured meats.
