Anisodontea capensis – ‘African Rose Mallow’

A tough shrub grown as a topiary, tolerant of coastal conditions and periods of dryness. Prune regularly to maintain compact and round shape. Topiary head sits above 80cm standard height.

FEATURES: Bird attracting, frost and drought tolerant once established

HEIGHT X WIDTH: 1.2m x 1.2m

FOLIAGE: Small green

FLOWER: Large mid-pink flowers. Spot flowering throughout the year and peak flushes spring-summer. 

POSITION: Full sun to part shade

USES: Borders, edging, feature planting on verge gardens and in pots and containers.

COMMENTS: Prune regularly to maintain compact and round shape
