Aloe hybrid – ‘Venus’

A prolifically flowering aloe with spikes of lovely bicoloured red and white flowers throughout the year. It has slender leaves growing to 60cm tall and it can grow to 50cm wide. It can deal with extreme cold, heat, drought and rain but does need to be protected from frost. In summer it may need supplementary watering, when it needs watering its leaves will being to shrivel. It looks great in succulent gardens, in Mediterranean gardens and grows well in pots and containers. It needs be grown in well drained soils in a part shade position.
