Alocasia macrorrhizos is a striking giant-leafed member of the Alocasia genus, featuring large, broad emerald green leaves on long thick stems.

Thrives in a humid, brightly shaded area, with good, loamy soil. Indoors, keep in a bright, naturally-lit room, but out of direct sun. Likes moderate water and mist or hose the leaves occasionally to keep pests at bay, but do not allow to sit in water.
