Agapanthus hybrid

FEATURES: A tough perennial with a clumping growth habit which looks great planted en masse or in pots

SIZE: 1m H x  50cm W

FOLIAGE: Strappy, green foliage

FLOWER: In summer it produces a cluster of deep purple flowers on a long spike that can appear almost black

POSITION: Plant in well drained soil in full sun to full shade, although in full shade it may not flower well

USES: It is an excellent border, landscaping and general garden plant

COMMENTS: Remove spent flower heads and cleaning up the dead leaves. Every few years it can be lifted and separated into multiple plants, this keeps the plant healthier by allowing air flow and reducing hiding spaces for pests.
