Syzygium australe – ‘Bush Christmas’

$99.99

A compact syzygium (lillypilly). It’s dense habit makes it perfect for use as a topiary. Unpruned reaches up to 3 metres and a spread of 1.5m. During the winter months it has attractive red/orange new growth. Produces a white flower followed by an edible berry (if not pruned).

FEATURES: Hardy, colourful new growth, 

HEIGHT X WIDTH: 2m x 2m 

FOLIAGE: Pointed, deep green, red new growth

FLOWER: Puffy, white, spring and summer

POSITION: Full sun to part shade

USES: Formal gardens, moden gardens, avenue planting, pots and containers

COMMENTS: Prune regularly to maintain ball shape, fertilise with slow release fertiliser in spring
