A popular backyard variety that crops well and is a small tree that allows for easy harvest.

Position: Full sun, needs well drained soils

Size & Habit: 5m H, with a spreading habit, can be maintained as low as 2m

Flower: White, small

Fruit: Medium size (~7 grams), needs to be pickled to consume

Skin: Harvested and pickled green

Cropping: Crops from April to June

Harvest/Maturity: Can take up to 3 years to fruit

Pollination: Self fertile

Uses: Pickling, ornamental tree
