Callistemon hybrid – ‘Red Rocket’

A hedging shrub with stunning red new growth contrasting against dark green mature leaves. It grows 1.5m tall and 50cm wide.

It is a non-flowering cultivar, perfect for providing colour in the gardens of people with hay fever or bee allergies. It a great hedge for pool areas, coastal gardens and low maintenance gardens.  

It should be grown in full sun to part shade position in well drained soils. It should be fertilised in when planted and in spring yearly with a low phosphorus slow release fertiliser.
