Fuchsia – ‘Shadow Dancer Peggy’

‘Peggy’ is a small fuchsia growing to 25cm tall and 25cm wide with lovely white and apricot flowers from late Winter into Summer. It is great as a potted plant in protected areas and can be grown as a mass planting in the garden as long as it is kept in a sheltered position. The Shadow Dancer Fuchsias are more sun and heat tolerant than traditional fuchsias but should still be grown in a part shade position protected from midday sun. For best success with fuchsias they should be kept moist as if the soil dries out they will drop their leaves and blooms. To get the best display from your fuchsia they need regular applications of liquid fertiliser and should have their spent flowers pruned off to encourage more blooms.
