Zanzibar Gem (Zamioculcas zamifolia) is a plant that thrives on neglect. A striking feature plant with shiny dark green leaves on upright stems, it tolerates very low light conditions inside the house. It needs water with fertiliser only once a month in summer and not at all in winter.
