This heirloom lilac, a profuse bloomer, is an excellent choice for a shrub border or as a single specimen.

Habit: 3m H x 3m W

Growth Rate: Moderate

Foliage: Mid green heart shaped.

Flower: Fragrant single dark-purple flower spikes are produced in mid spring

Position: As for all English lilacs, plant the graft 10cm below the soil level and remove any suckers as they appear. Dislikes a very hot weather so best grown in a sunny but protected position in Perth.
