A moderately slow growing tree with compact rounded shape. Numerous bright fuchsia pink to red coloured flowers appear in mid summer. Best in full sun moist but well drained slightly acidic soil. Prepare soil with a good amount of organic matter and soil conditioner.

Growth Rate: Moderately slow

Foliage: Bronze/green turning reddish maroon in autumn

Flowers: Fuchsia pink to red

Bark: Cinnamon coloured when young then exfoliating at around 3 years leaving a lighter and creamy toned underbark.

Tolerances: Good to moderate drought and heat tolerance
