A stunning example of this classic garden plant that provides a real exclamation mark in the garden. 

Position: Plant in a sunny position in free draining garden soil. Choose a position that is out of the wind

Flower: Intense, deep maroon flowers that border on black. The strong stems easily reach a metre or more and the flowers last well. 

Foliage: A tall perennial that flowers on a single stem. 

Size: 1.5m H x 25cm W

Uses: Plant in groups for stunning effect and to enable plants to support each other. It will add a bit of drama to the garden.
