A hardy, perennial, clumping grass, Dietes grandiflora, often called Fairy Iris or Wild Iris, is suitable for all kinds of gardens, from coastal to containers. Native to South Africa, Dietes tolerates a wide range of conditions and soil types, and has very low water requirements once established.

Position: Plant in a part shade to sunny position in almost any soil conditions

Flower: Masses of whote flowers with yellow splashes in spring and summer.

Foliage: Dark green sword-like leaf.

Size: 75cm H x 85cm W

Uses: Use for borders, mass plantings, narrow spaces, or even as a feature, as flowers present an impressive display when in full bloom.
