A tough plant with stunning cone-shaped flowers and of great benefit to our bodies.

Position:  Dry, sunny position with well-drained soil. 

Uses: Fresh leaves can be used as a tea. Dried roots are most commonly used to treat respiratory conditions like the common cold. Root is dried then ground, grated or slivered. 

Harvest: Roots of plant 3+ years old.
