Land Cress, also called American Cress, has a hot, spicy flavour very similar to Water Cress. Ideal for growing in shady conditions under a tall crop. Low growing and spreading.
Position: Likes a moist shady position. Protect from slugs and snails.
Uses:ย As a substitute for Water Cress or spinach. Sparingly in salads. Makes an excellent soup. Seed can be sprouted or made into oil.
Harvest:ย All year if autumn sown seed is protected in winter.ย
