A cross between a black currant and a gooseberry. A thornless plant that grows in a similar way to black currant. Self-fertile.
Plant into moist, well-drained soil. Full sun. Harvest fruit when blue-black and firm. Winter prune to remove the oldest canes and drooping branches. Fruit is produced on 1-year old branches so leave this growth. A healthy plant will produce for over 15 years.
