Cyphomandra betacea ‘Tamarillo’ 

$16.99 – $29.99

Also known as the tree tomato, this is a fast growing, evergreen shrub 1.5-2m tall. Large heart-shaped leaves are 15-20cm long. Small pale pink fragrant flowers. Red or yellow fruits in late autumn to winter in Perth. Fruiting may begin after 18 months, however mature yields may take 3-4 years. Use fruits in sauces, chutneys and jams.

Plant in rich, well draining soil. Will not tolerate waterlogging or drought.
