Prices on the website are in Australian dollars and include GST. The prices shown may vary, especially for items that are placed on waitlist. Any price variation will be confirmed with the purchaser before the order is processed.
Gift voucher prices are in Australian dollars and GST is included in the products purchased when redeeming the gift voucher.
Prices exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated.
All care is taken to provide accurate product descriptions with dimensions, colours, materials and photographs which match as closely as possible to the items received in store. Variations may occur, especially with plants, trees and handmade items due to the organic, individual nature of the products. No responsibility can be accepted for these normal variations.
Processing Time:
Orders may take up to 12hrs to process on weekdays and longer on weekends.
Stock Availability:
Items which are in stock are available for purchase on the website. Out of stock items show as ‘Join Waitlist’ and you can ask to be notified when it is in stock. This is not a confirmed order for the purchase of the item. You will receive an email or SMS text notification when it has been received and can be purchased.
Payments:
Payments can be made by credit card or by direct bank deposit. Credit card payments are made through the secure Stripe payment system. When payment is made by direct deposit, the order is confirmed only when payment has been received.
Store Pickup:
Orders can be processed online, by email or by phone and collected from our Guildford store without any shipping or handling fee. When “Guildford Store Pick-up” has been selected at the checkout, please wait for your confirmation email advising that your order is ready for collection.
Orders purchased online or by phone must be picked up within 10 days. After 10 days, any order not collected will be returned to stock, and you will be issued a store credit with us.
Cancellation And Returns:
Please ensure that you select your products carefully as we will not exchange or refund products simply if you change your mind.
Any orders cancelled once a confirmation email has been received by Guildford Town Garden Centre may incur a 10% administration fee.
Returns may be initiated by first contacting the Guildford Town Garden Centre via phone or email. Returns and exchanges will be assessed on an individual basis. Returns directly to the store without prior contact will not be accepted.
Returns must be packaged securely, free of damage and where applicable in its original packaging. Proof of purchased is required. A refund or credit may be offered.
Gift Vouchers purchased from Guildford Town Garden Centre are redeemable in store and with online purchases. Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for a cash advance. When the cost of purchase exceeds the value of the Gift Voucher, you will be required to pay the difference.
Promotional vouchers cannot be used to purchase Gift Vouchers.
Treat your Gift Voucher like cash. Lost or stolen vouchers may not be replaced or refunded.

Delivery Days:
Deliveries are made on Wednesdays and Fridays. We do contactless delivery from our van. Your order will be delivered to your address for you to take into your property.
The delivery date will depend on the availability of plants/trees/other items and will be confirmed as soon as possible. No set time on the delivery day can be given. If no-one is at home, the delivery will be left at the property and a photograph supplied to confirm where the goods have been left.
Most trees are delivered via van – there is no additional charge per tree.
Delivery Area:
Perth Metro Delivery Area: Within 20km of the CBD the cost is $40. For outer suburbs of Perth over 20kms from the CBD, please call to confirm delivery availability and request a quote.
We do NOT deliver plants and trees or bulky items such as soil or mulch outside the Perth area. If you are located in Western Australia, please contact us to discuss arranging delivery of plants and trees to regional areas via your own courier or transport company.
Please note that due to quarantine restrictions we are unable to send any plants or trees outside Western Australia.
Furniture & Bulky Items:
Deliveries of furniture and bulky items can be made within Perth metropolitan area. You are welcome to arrange your own courier for delivery outside this area. Furniture items cannot be posted. Very bulky or heavy items may incur additional charges – you will be contacted if this is required.
The driver is unable to assist with moving items around on your property.
Postage Australia Wide:
We post many small (under 5kg) items of giftware and merchandise to anywhere in Australia.
Postage calculated at checkout is an estimate only and is based on Express Postage Satchels through Australia Post. If items in your order do not fit into a standard satchel, or are fragile, we will contact you to advise of extra postage charges. Postage will be Express (current estimated delivery times can be found on the Australia Post website) unless advised otherwise.
Please allow up to 48 hours for orders to be processed and posted, and longer if items need to be ordered in.
Delivery Check:
You are responsible for checking all delivered products carefully. Any visible defects must be reported to Guildford Town Garden Centre immediately. We will not accept liability for visible defects not reported within 3 days.
If you believe that any product is of an unsatisfactory quality, please contact us immediately and treat the product with the utmost care while your claim is being investigated.
Stock available all year round:
Plants and trees are available at different times during the year. For plants and trees that are available most of the year, we can usually get stock within one to two weeks. If you require plants for a set date, we recommend that the order is placed well in advance. At least two weeks is preferred.
Seasonal and difficult to source stock:
Not all plants/trees can be sourced all year round as many are only available seasonally. It is easy to miss out on these items as only limited stock may be available.
For seasonal and hard to find plants/trees, we recommend adding your details to our waitlist. This is not an order or a commitment to buy the item. We will keep your request on the waitlist until the item is next available.
Plant Quotes:
In many cases, especially with hard to source, rare or unusual plants and bare-rooted trees, we are unable to give an exact price and size until the stock is available. We may however be able to give you a rough estimate of what the item is expected to cost.
Availability:
Any dates/times given on plant/tree availability are estimates only. Plants are living things and growth is influenced by many factors including the weather. We will notify people on our waitlist as soon as the stock has arrived and is ready to be purchased.
Deposits and Payment:
For large orders or orders of certain plants/trees, we may ask for a deposit to be paid. The balance will be due on the receipt of the stock.
We aim to source the highest quality stock available, and we try to supply a tree that is suitable for the intended purpose. We cannot be held responsible if incorrect or inadequate information is provided to us by growers and suppliers.
Regardless of the whether a tree is covered by our guarantee and replacement policy or not, we will always give advice to correct the situation.
Please Note: Proof of purchase (either as a receipt or tree label with price tag) is required for a tree to be eligible for a full or partial refund or replacement.
Planting Guide:
General recommended information on planting practices is available on a fact sheet either in store or on our website, however we recommend asking one of our qualified horticulturists for additional or more specific advice if needed for your situation.
Growth Rates and Mature Size:
As a tree is a living organism, we cannot guarantee specific growth rates or mature size. All sizes and growth rates are given as a general guide and are produced under ideal conditions. Trees can take some time to ‘adjust’ to the conditions in their new position and will not necessarily put on expected ideal growth during this period.
Care of Your Tree:
Trees leave the garden centre in a healthy condition. Should a tree not appear to be doing as well as expected, we require you to contact us immediately by email. We generally require customers to contact us by the end of November with trees that have failed to shoot (in the case of bare-rooted and newly bagged, current season trees). Please provide photos plus any additional information regarding the care of that tree to date.
Should you wait until your tree has died to contact us, we will NOT offer a replacement (at reduced cost or free).
The decision to provide a full or partial refund is at our discretion.
In our experience, when one of our purchased trees fails it is generally caused by the way the tree has been cared for and maintained. When this is rectified, the tree should recover. We are not responsible for the replacement of trees that have been incorrectly treated, under watered, over watered, incorrectly planted or generally not given adequate growing conditions.
Should advice on a sick tree be sought from other garden centres, landscapers, friends/family or neighbours, we will not be responsible for the replacement of that tree (either in full or in part).
Tree Replacement:
When judging whether a failed tree warrants a replacement, the performance of the same trees remaining in stock (from the same batch) will be considered, as well as any other feedback from purchasers of the same tree.
Should it be agreed that the failure of the tree is not due in full to the customer, we will either replace the tree free of charge or at a discounted rate at out discretion. If the tree is out of stock, we will either issue a store credit to the value of the purchased tree or provide a replacement tree when it returns into stock.
Replacement trees will be of the same value/size as the original tree. If there is a price difference, a store credit will be issued, or the difference is payable by the customer.
Delivery of the replacement tree is not covered by the guarantee. Should delivery of a replacement tree be needed, the customer may be required to pay the fee.
Pruning Bare Root Trees:
All bare-rooted trees must be pruned in store by a minimum of 1/3. This is done by staff after the tree is purchased and before the tree leaves the garden centre. Should you refuse this free service, any guarantee on the tree is void.
Tree Exclusions:
Trees that we do not offer any guarantee and replacement policy on include but are not limited to; Betula species (Silver Birches), Prunus amygdalus (Almonds), Prunus mume pendula (Weeping Apricot), Prunus sp. (Cherries, ornamental or fruiting). Please contact us if there are any queries.
Guildford Town Garden Centre collects personal information about you within the meaning of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You may check the information that we hold about you by emailing us.
In addition to allowing us to check your creditworthiness and processing your orders, the personal details and data you submit and records of your visit to our website, will be used to monitor and improve our service and facilities to you.
To properly process your order, we have to store your data and details, and provide certain aspects of this data and details to third parties who are directly involved with the processing of the order. By placing an order with us, you agree to your data being processed by Guildford Town Garden Centre and its agents.
Your information will not be used for marketing purposes unless you elect to receive marketing information from Guildford Town Garden Centre at the time of purchase. By consenting to receive marketing information from Guildford Town Garden Centre, you may from time to time receive, newsletters, offers, specials, email promotions and other material directly related to the Guildford Town Garden Centre.
We will respect the privacy of your personal data and details and will comply with the current and relevant data protection and privacy legislation. We will not disclose your personal data to anyone, unless required to do so by court of law.
